Economy DJs specializes in events with under 100 guests that are private or family oriented.  We are a casual disc jockey service and our DJs dress casual.  We do not dj/mc formal events where the standard dress is black tie or tux. 

Some of the events we do include:  Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Pool Parties for Apartment Complexes, Retirement, Family Reunions, Showers, Sweet Sixteens, and more.  

The events and parties we dj/mc fit best at venues and places such as family restaurants, halls, neighborhood clubhouses.  We don't usually dj/mc at Country Clubs, Officers Clubs, Yacht Clubs, places where formal dress such as black tie or tux is the standard.  We will play there if your event is casual and you don't mind a dj in casual attire.

Our music library consists of a wide variety of music.  These are the music categories we have;  Oldies, Motown, Dance, Disco, Old School, Todays Hits.  Music from the 1950s to today.  Economy DJs avoids the nasty explicit music and we basicly avoid gangster rap or any other music that can be offensive, however, we do carry clean edits.  Let's talk about your event and we can discuss the music.

Economy DJs has professional audio equipment.  Your DJ will arrive with a professional dj set up. 

Pricing

The rates posted below are starting rates for most events.  They are based on the event taking place on a ground floor level of a venue where the equipment can be rolled in.  For other floor levels of a venue where stair cases are present or elevators are needed the rates will be slightly higher.  Check with your venue.  Also, be sure to see "Additional Hours", "Note on Saturday Events" and "Additional Acts" towards the bottom of the page.

Wedding Reception

$395.00 for four hours.  Extra hours are $50.00 per hour for each additional hour when available.

Wedding Ceremony in addition to reception

-  in the same room as the reception, includes mic and/or music, no extra dj system required.  $50.00 extra.

Anniversaries, Reunions, Retirements

$350.00 up to four hours.  Extra hours are $50.00 per hour for each additional hour when available.

Vow renewals in addition to Anniversary Party

-  in the same room as the Anniversary party, includes mic and/or music, no extra dj system required.  $50.00 extra.

Birthdays, Pool Parties for Apartment Complexes, Campgrounds, Graduations

$295.00 up to four hours.  Extra hours are $50.00 per hour for each additional hour when available

Rates

You can see our rates are very reasonable.  If your event is not listed above contact us and we will give you a reasonable rate.

Booking

There is an entertainment agreement.  A deposit will reserve your date and the balance is due one week before the event is to take place when using a check or money order.  We accept cash only, at set up time on the day of the event. Absolutely no checks or money orders accepted the day of the event.

Additional Hours

Additional hours can be added to any event if available.  The cost is $50.00 per hour for each additional hour and must be prepaid in cash.

Note: Saturday weddings, parties. and events only!  Please read!

Saturday afternoon events must end on or before 5:00 PM.  Saturday evening events must begin on or after 7:00 PM.  If you are having a wedding, party or event on a Saturday and it begins, ends or runs through the 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM time period the cost will be double the posted starting rates with up to six hours playing time.  This is Saturday only! 

Additional acts at events

If you are having a party or event where there is going to be an additional act and that additional act needs the use of our equipment for playing music or a microphone a higher rate would apply.  We would need to discuss this when you book your party.

Summary

Economy DJs is a dance/mc disc jockey service.  We do not do karaoke or allow anyone to use our equipment for their own personal performance.  We do provide microphones and assist with the traditonal formalities that will take place at a wedding or anniversary.
